A Dubai atelier, a capital clientele

Abu Dhabi clients book us the way they book anything else that comes from Dubai: in batches. One visit covers the first consultation and measuring, at home on Al Reem or Saadiyat, at an office in ADGM on Al Maryah Island, or anywhere between the Corniche and Khalifa City.

The garments themselves are cut and sewn in our Business Bay atelier, and we return to the capital for each fitting. Most commissions need two or three visits in all, and we group appointments so neighbours and colleagues can share a date. Government and banking dress codes here lean formal, and our English and Italian cuts in navy and charcoal are the capital's steady order, with sherwanis and kanduras' companion pieces rising ahead of wedding season.

For something faster, the showroom is a straight run up Sheikh Zayed Road, about 75 to 90 minutes from the Corniche, and many Abu Dhabi clients fold a visit into a Dubai weekend.

We schedule Abu Dhabi visits on fixed days, usually with a few appointments in one trip, so booking a week ahead gets the best choice of times. Evening appointments for majlis hours are no problem.

Abu Dhabi: common questions

Does The Bespoke Corner really visit Abu Dhabi?

Yes, by appointment. We bring the fabric books to your home or office anywhere in the capital, including Al Maryah Island, Al Reem, Saadiyat, Khalifa City and the Corniche, and we return for fittings.

How many trips does a suit take for an Abu Dhabi client?

Usually two or three: measuring, one fitting, and collection or a final fitting. Allow about 6 to 8 weeks end to end. Some clients collect at the Business Bay showroom to save a trip.

Is there a charge for an Abu Dhabi home visit?

No charge for the visit itself on commissions. We group capital appointments on set days, so tell us your area and we offer the next dates.

Can you dress a wedding party in Abu Dhabi?

Yes. Grooms, groomsmen and family, measured in one sitting at your home or venue. For sherwanis and agbadas, start earlier than 6 to 8 weeks in the October-to-February season.
