The details

What makes it tailored

Four details that fit a traditional kaftan to you.

  1. The shoulder

    SHOULDER Set to yours

A kaftan hangs from the shoulders, so we cut it to yours. The front falls straight and the hem stays level.

  2. The collar

    COLLAR Band or round

A low band collar or a round neck, with a short button opening. In matching or contrasting fabric.

  3. The fit

    FIT Straight, relaxed

Straight from the chest, with room to sit on a chair or on the floor. Side slits let it move.

  4. The fabric

    FABRIC Linen or cotton

Linen stays cool and softens with wear. Fine cotton is smoother, and suits Eid.

Questions

Questions about the kaftan

Where can I get a bespoke men’s kaftan made in Dubai?

At The Bespoke Corner in Business Bay, in Sand Linen, Giza Poplin or any of more than 3,000 fabrics. Fittings in the showroom or at your home.

Linen or cotton for a kaftan?

Linen for the heat and every day: it breathes and softens. Cotton for a crisper look at Eid and in the evening.

Can I order a kaftan for Eid?

Yes. Tell us the date when you book, and come early as Eid approaches.

Can the kaftan be embroidered?

Yes. Embroidery in matching thread at the collar or front keeps it subtle.
