Where to get a sherwani made in Dubai
A sherwani tailor in Business Bay, Dubai. Made to measure in raw silk or fine wool, with embroidery agreed at your fitting, and home visits across the city.

You can have a sherwani made to measure in Dubai at The Bespoke Corner in Business Bay. We cut it by hand from ivory raw silk or fine wool, draw a paper pattern for your body, agree the embroidery with you, and fit it until it falls straight from collar to knee. We also bring the fabric books to your home or office anywhere in Dubai. Tell us the wedding date and we plan the fittings around it.
What we make
The sherwani is the long wedding coat, worn over a kurta with churidar or straight trousers, for the ceremony itself. If you want the shorter jacket for the sangeet or the reception, that is the bandhgala, cut to the hip. Many grooms order both and have them planned together so the colours sit well across the week. See the sherwani for the cut in detail.
The choices that matter
- Length and line. To the knee or just below, with side vents, proportioned to your height so it looks right in every photograph.
- Cloth. Ivory raw silk, slubbed with a soft lustre, is the house wedding fabric; a fine wool or a deeper jewel tone suits an evening reception.
- Embroidery. In matching or contrasting thread at the collar, cuffs and front. We agree the design and placement at your first visit; nothing is pre-set.
- What is worn with it. A kurta beneath, with churidar or straight trousers; many grooms add a stole, a safa and mojari.
Plan the whole wedding wardrobe together
A South Asian wedding is a run of events, each with its own dress. Our guide on the sherwani, the bandhgala and what to wear to each ceremony walks through the mehndi, the sangeet, the ceremony and the reception. Bring a swatch or photo of the bride’s outfits to the consultation and we match the cloth and thread.
